Rick Spitz has launched Rick Spitz Studio. He graduated from University of Oklahoma with architectural degree in 1981 and afterwards was commissioned to paint renderings for architects, and developers.
After painting approximately 70 renderings, Rick was hired in 1988 by CRS Sirrine (now Jacobs), which brought him to Greenville SC. During his time at CRS Sirrine, Rick received his architectural license and was licensed in 48 states.
Growing up in Oklahoma he worked on his family’s ranch where they raised over 3,000 head of Limousin cattle. This influenced several of his paintings. Rick, now retired, continues to paint basing his subject matter on his vivid memories of nature. Being extremely proficient at photography, and widely traveled domestically as well as internationally, Rick also has an eye for subject matter and a vast collection of photography.
